Cheeseburger Sliders with Mushroom Shred-It

Slide this appetizer into your rotation and eat it up! The gooeyness and chewiness is going to make everyone at your barbecue a fan of Shroomeats.



Servings: 4-6

Prep Time: 10-15 minutes

Cook Time: 20-25 minutes



1 box Shroomeats Mushroom Shred-it

2 tbsp olive oil

⅔ cup diced white onion

3-4 tbsp Burger Seasoning (We used Weber)

12-roll Hawaiian buns sliced in half, opened

1 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

⅔ cup sliced pickles

1-2’ of aluminum foil


Dipping sauce:

⅔ cup preferred mayonnaise

⅓ cup ketchup

2 tbsp pickle juice

2 tbsp relish

Salt & pepper to taste


  1. In a pan on medium heat add oil and onions to saute for 1-2 minutes or until aromatic.
  2. Add Mushroom Shred-It and Burger Seasoning to pan and mix well, heat for 4-6 minutes or until browned.
  3. Transfer filling onto the bottom Hawaiian buns then top with shredded cheese. *Feel free to add another layer of the filling and shredded cheese for extra goeyness. Top with pickles and add top buns.
  4. Wrap the buns with foil and bake in the oven at 350 F for 12-15 minutes.
  5. While the sliders are baking, make the dipping sauce: Add all the dipping sauce ingredients together and mix well.
  6. Remove the foil and cut the buns individually for serving alongside the dipping sauce, and enjoy!
