Tikka Masala Shroomeats Balls

Cook time: 25-30 minutes


- One box of Shroomeats Mushroom Balls

- 2 cups strained tomato sauce

- 2.5 tbsp nonfat unsweetened greek yogurt

- 2 tbsp of preferred cooking oil

- 1 white onion, chopped

- 3 garlic clove, chopped

- ½” ginger, chopped

- 1 tsp of turmeric powder

- 1 tsp cumin powder

- 1 tsp garam masala powder

- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (add or decrease to heat preference)

- 1 tsp smoked paprika powder

- 1 bunch fresh coriander or cilantro, chopped

- 1 tsp salt


  1. In a well oiled large pot on medium heat saute onions, ginger, and garlic for 1 minute.
  2. Add Shroomeats Mushroom Balls and cook for 4-6 minutes or until browned.
  3. Add turmeric, cumin, and garam masala, mix well until fragrant.
  4. Add tomato sauce, yogurt, red chili, paprika, and salt. Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stir occasionally.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander or cilantro. Svaadisht! (Delicious in Hindi)
