This crunchy, refreshing, umami, and slightly sweet dish is the perfect mid-day snack or fun party appetizer.

You’ll need:
- 1 box Shroomeats Mushroom Shred-It
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- ½ cup frying oil
- 1 package of rice papers - cut ‘em any size you’d like; small for appetizers, big for the main dish
- ½ ripe avocado
- ⅓ cup diced tomatoes
- A handful of cilantro
- 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
Let’s get cooking:
- Heat pan on medium to high, add oil, Mushroom Shred-It, and brown for 4-6 minutes.
- Sprinkle in taco seasoning and sauté for another 2-3 minutes. Set it aside.
- In a clean pan, heat oil on medium to high. When oil is hot (be careful!) fry rice papers until crisp then set on a paper towel to absorb extra oil.
- To plate, layer Mushroom Shred-It on crispy rice paper tostada, add tomatoes, avocado slices, and fresh cilantro.
- Drizzle teriyaki sauce and dig in! Crunch, savor, and enjoy every bite!
